Kent DelHousaye is the Teaching Pastor at Bethany Bible Church in Phoenix, Arizona. Before coming to BBC, Kent was the Lead Pastor at Northwest Community Church, the Associate Teaching Pastor at Scottsdale Bible Church and the Young Adults Pastor at Santa Cruz Bible Church. Kent has been married to his wife Stephanie for 14 years and together they have two sons named Ethan and Christian. He holds have a Bachelors degree in Journalism from Arizona State University, a Master of Divinity degree in Biblical Communication from Phoenix Seminary and is presently working on a Doctor of Ministry degree in Faith & Culture at the Talbot School of Theology.
Kent enjoys reading old books, writing articles and blogging, listening to folk rock and movie scores, and sipping a good cup of coffee over a newspaper. His “must read” books include Lectures on Preaching by Phillips Brooks,Back to Virtue by Peter Kreeft, Knowing God by J.I. Packer, Roaring Lambs by Bob Briner and just about anything by Eugene Peterson.
